Getting to Campus
The Office of Undergraduate Admission is located in 210 Gibson Hall at 6823 St. Charles Avenue in the Uptown area of New Orleans. (The Tulane School of Medicine and Medical Center is located "downtown" at 1415 Tulane Avenue.) For your convenience, we strongly recommend that visitors take a taxi or use the streetcar to get to campus. Taxi fare between New Orleans International and Tulane University is $21.00 each way. Taxis can be found just outside of the baggage claim area on the lower level of the terminal.

The Airport Shuttle service charges $10.00 each way between New Orleans International Airport and Tulane University. Several Airport Shuttle ticket counters are located in the baggage claim area. The Airport Shuttle van stops at the Tulane University Center, a short walk from the Admission Office.

The Tulane campus is on the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar line approximately four miles from the French Quarter. The streetcars run twenty four hours a day and stop immediately in front of the Admission Office. The fare is $1.00 (exact change required.) Families staying at downtown hotels may find that the streetcar provides a scenic and easy way to move between hotel and campus.
