Sentmore Named Second Team All-Conference USA
Nov. 17, 1999 TAMPA, Fla. - Tulane junior Kim Sentmore was named to the All-Conference USA Team the league office announced on Wednesday. Sentmore was named Second Team All-Conference USA as she has made her mark on both the league and national levels. For most of the season, Sentmore has led C-USA and ranked among the top-20 in the nation in kills. Sentmore leads the conference and is currently 12th in the nation in kills per game averaging 5.32. In digs, she is fourth in C-USA averaging 3.75 per game and has totaled 346 on the season. Sentmore leads the Green Wave in kills (486), and digs (342). In 26 matches, Sentmore has posted 14 20-plus kill performances and 18 double-doubles. She put down a career high 27 kills against Southern Miss earlier in the season. The No. 10 seed, Tulane, plays in its first match of the 1999 Conference USA Tournament on Thursday at 2 p.m., as they battle the No. 7 seed UNC Charlotte.
