Green Wave Basketball Highlights- Won two Conference USA regular-season
titles (1997 and 1999)... Also won two Conference USA Tournament titles
(1997 and 1999)... Was a member of four straight NCAA Tournament
teams... Co-captain did not miss a game during her four-year career,
playing in all 121 contests... Was named to Who's Who in American
Colleges... Was a four-year starter.

Tafaro...Named East Jefferson Parish Female Athlete of the Year in
1995...Volleyball district MVP in 1994... Was also selected first team
all-district and was named all-metro in 1994 in volleyball... An
excellent student who graduated second in her class and had a 4.0 senior
GPA... Also participated in softball, basketball and track...Received
all-state basketball honors both as a junior and a senior... Named metro
MVP as a senior... Ecole Classique won the state Basketball championship
in 1993-94 and 1994-95 and advanced to the championships four of the
five years she played...
Her senior season, Ecole Classique was 40-2 and
she was named MVP of the championship game, scoring 21 points... A
1993-94 all-state and all-district selection...Broke1,000 career points
as a junior... Played outfield in softball for two years, ran relays and
