Dr. Blazen Draguljic begins his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Green Wave where he aids in all aspects of practice. In addition to his duties with the team, Draguljic is in his third year as a Triple Board Resident at Tulane Hospital where he specializes in pediatrics, and both child and adult psychology.

A native of Banja Luka, Bosnia, Draguljic moved to Esslingen, Germany in 1993 and then to Lancaster, Pa., in 1998. He split time as a prepster between Gimnazija, Banja Luka and Theodor Huess Gymnasium in Germany where he played a combined six seasons of volleyball. He helped THG win the Baden-Wurttemburg state title and helped lead Esslinger Sportverein to a league championship in four of his five years with the team. In addition, Draguljic was voted best middle blocker three times.

After moving to the U.S., Draguljic attended Elizabethtown College on an academic scholarship and played club in his three years as an undergrad. After moving on to medical school, he continued playing and helped his team win the league title four consecutive seasons. He also participated in the USA Junior Olympics with Lancaster Township.

Draguljic completed his bachelor's degree in biology from Elizabethtown in 2002 and earned his M.D. from St. George's in New York City.
