Career Notes: Three-year letterwinner, including the last two at Tulane, has recorded 296 kills (2.11/set), 89 digs (0.64/set), 32 blocks (0.23/set), five service aces (0.04/set) and four assists (0.03/set) in 47 matches and 140 of action during her career…accumulated 55 digs (1.38/set), 23 kills (0.58/set), four service aces (0.10/set), three assists (0.08/set) and three blocks (0.08/set) in two injury-plagued seasons to date…expected to miss the early portion of the 2015 season after undergoing knee surgery prior to preseason practice.
2014: Played in 16 matches and 30 sets as a redshirt-junior…recorded 55 digs, 22 kills, three aces and a trio of blocks…tallied four multiple-kill outings with a season-high of five vs UTSA (8/29), vs Coppin State (9/20) and at SMU (10/12)…logged five-plus digs on five occasions with a career-best 13 vs UTSA…added a season-high two blocks vs Southeastern Louisiana (9/11) and posted single-ace matches vs SLU, vs Howard (9/12) and at UConn (11/28)…off the court, was a member of the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and Tulane’s 3.0 Club.
2013: Saw action in one match as a redshirt-sophomore…posted one kills in two swings to go with a service ace vs Savannah State (9/21) at the Radford Highlander Classic…missed the bulk of the season due to a shoulder injury sustained during the 2012 season at DePaul.
Prior To Tulane: Spent two years at DePaul where she played in 30 matches and 100 sets for coach Nadia Edwards…as a true freshman in 2011, led the Blue Demons in kills (272) and kills per set (2.78) while sitting fifth in total blocks (28) and sixth in blocks per set (0.29) to go with 34 digs, one assist and a service ace…posted 11 double-digit kill outings, including a career-best 22 vs Villanova (11/24/11)…posted a career-best with four blocks (1 solo, 3 assists) at UConn (10/30/11) and added nine digs at Western Illinois (10/18/11)…claimed all-tournament honors at the Cleveland State Tournament after averaging 3.1 kills per set while contributing four digs and a pair of blocks over three matches and at the DePaul Invitational after averaging 2.6 kills per frame over the two-day event…limited to just one match and two sets as a sophomore in 2012 before suffering a shoulder injury and receiving a medical redshirt…named to the Big East All-Academic Team as a freshman and claimed a spot on DePaul’s Dean’s List both years she was at the school.
High School: Three-year letterwinner at Ventura High for coaches Cyndi Gilbert and Jared Godinez…helped lead the Cougars to a combined 39-38-3 overall record, including winning seasons in each of her final two prep seasons…named first-team All-Channel League as a junior and senior…as a senior, claimed all-county honors after posting 319 kills, 236 digs and 41 service aces...selected to play in the All-County All-Star Game…picked up all-tournament recognition at the Cougar Classic as a junior…played for Santa Barbara Volleyball Club where she helped the team win a gold medal at the Junior National Volleyball Championships in 2011 and at both the MLK Tournament in 2010 and Southern California Qualifier in 2010…key contributor to a bronze medal effort in the Open Division of the Junior Olympics and the American Divisions at the Junior Olympics in 2009 and at the Junior Olympics in Dallas in 2008…competed in the European Global Challenge in 2010, traveling to Italy and Croatia on the USA High Performance Team…also lettered twice in softball…off the court, was a member of the Honor Roll every semester
