NEW ORLEANS, La. - - Four different Tulane women's tennis players won their final matches at the Green Wave Classic held at the Goldring Tennis Center on Sunday.

Joyce Bergman and Anneli Axsater each won their A Flight singles matches, while Olga Mikhailova and Julie Morris both won matches in the B Flight singles draw.

Bergman cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win over UNO's Ulrika Ericsson, while Axsater was a 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 winner over Louisiana-Lafayette's Arina Uratani. Lucy Wood was not as fortunate, dropping a hard-fought 7-6, 6-1 decision to LSU's Fernanda Tsucumoto.

In the B singles draw, Morris posted a solid 6-4, 6-1 win over South Alabama's Josien Boverhof, while Mikhailova came back from a set down to post a 2-6, 7-5, 6-3 win over UNO's Liselott Hedenberg.

In doubles action, the Tulane tandem of Maiko Cook and Mikhailova were 8-2 winners over ULL's Hubert and Novotna, while Axsater and Wood downed the ULL duo of Uratani and Rampen, 8-4.
