NEW ORLEANS - Tulane's women's tennis team will make its final road trip of the regular season this Wednesday at 3 p.m. when it treks to Baton Rouge to take on No. 54 LSU at the W.T. "Dub" Robinson Stadium. There is no charge for admission.
Tulane (4-17) is expected to have No. 51 ranked, senior Klara Vyskocilova, back in the line-up after she missed the last five matches with an injury. The Green Wave will look to close out the road portion of the schedule with its first win over a nationally-ranked opponent.
"Obviously LSU is having a nice year and will bring a lot of intensity, as have the rest of our opponents have this year," Tulane head coach Terri Sisk said. "However, our team has done so many things well this year and competing against LSU will be no different. This group is a bunch of true fighters and no matter who we play we will continue to prepare for our future. This will be another great opportunity to learn and execute."
LSU enters the match-up against the Green Wave sporting a 9-10 overall record and coming off a 4-0 loss to No. 4 Florida in its last outing. The Tigers are 5-0 on its home courts against non-conference opponents this season.
