NEW ORLEANS, La. - After picking up its first Conference USA victory on March 23 at USF, the No. 21 Tulane women's tennis team squares of against No. 19 Washington at 2 p.m. (CST) on Saturday in Seattle.

Tulane (13-5) enters Saturday's contest on a five-match winning streak, and has won 11 of its last 12. The Green Wave roster boasts three ranked singles players in Jenny Kuehn (51), Nancy Kockott (67) and Julie Smekodub (96) along with two ranked doubles pairs in Kuehn and Smekodub (29) and Maria and Darya Ivanov (37). Unranked sophomore Dorottya Magas is in the midst of a winning streak of her own, having won her last 10 singles outings.

Currently two spots ahead of the Green Wave in the ITA rankings, the 19th-ranked Huskies (12-5) picked up two wins in three matches last week, defeating Washington State and Portland while falling to Oregon. Senior Dea Sumantri is currently ranked No. 9 in singles while Dinka Hadzic sits at No. 43.

Saturday's match is the first of two on the weekend for Tulane as the Green Wave take on No. 44 Sacramento State at 12 noon (CST) in Seattle on Sunday. Both matches are scheduled for the Bill Quillian Stadium on Washington's campus, but may be moved indoors due to weather conditions.
