Green Wave will honor senior class prior to match; Match time moved to 2 p.m.

Career Note: A one-year letterwinner who transferred to Tulane from Auburn...has an overall record of 26-43 in singles and 44-35 in doubles.

2011-12: An All-Conference USA third team selection who played in 31 singles matches and 39 doubles contests during her first season at Tulane...produced a 17-14 singles record and a 30-9 doubles mark...played the No. 3 singles slot for the Wave and registered a dual mark of 13-8, including an 11-7 record at the No. 3 spot and was 2-1 at the No. 2 position...won 12 of her 13 dual matches in straight sets...in doubles, she teamed with junior Caroline Magnusson and the tandem recorded the most wins by a C-USA doubles team with a 28-4 overall record, including a mark of 20-2 at the No. 2 position and was 1-0 at the top spot for a 21-2 dual record... helped Tulane win 20 of 25 doubles points and strung together a season-best 10-match win streak during the spring...completed the season as the 20th ranked singles player and No. 8 doubles team in the Southern Region.

2010-11: Posted a 4-17 singles mark and a doubles mark of 8-13...played at different times at the top three spots in the singles line-up and the No. 2 and No. 3 positions in doubles...in the fall, finished 4-5 in singles competition...captured the Brown Bears Flight at the Brown Invitational, picking up three-consecutive wins...topped South Florida's Lauren Schumate (7-6, 6-1) at the Seminole Quad Tournament ...paired with Emily Newton in doubles competition and finished with a 4-3 record...the duo won the Brown Flight at the Brown Invitational, capturing three-straight victories...Newton and Thornton also represented the Tigers at the ITA/Riviera All-American Championships...recorded a 1-2 record with Maria Arechavaleta.

2009-10: Finished 5-12 in singles competing in No. 2, 3, 4, and 5 spots throughout the year...competed with Fani Chifchieva in the No. 1 spot, going 1-1 on the season...played with Myrthe Molenveld and compiled a 3-8 record in the No. 1 spot...paired with Plamena Kurteva in the No. 3 spot and finished 2-3 with a 2-2 record in the SEC.
