Career Note: Two-year letterwinner enters her junior campaign with a career record of 11-13 in singles and 6-16 in doubles...is expected to compete for a spot in the Green Wave line-up throughout the 2010-11 season.

2009-10: Played in eight matches as a sophomore, going 6-2 in singles and 2-6 in doubles...all of her competition came during the fall tournament season...defeated Samford's Beth Erwin (6-4, 6-4) and the Belmont pair of Spenser-Anne Edwards (6-0, 6-1) and Lauren Irick (6-0, 6-1) to win the Grey 3 Draw at the Memphis Collegiate Invitational from Sept. 18-20, respectively...teamed with Jessica Lange in doubles action, defeating Belmont's Edwards/Irick (8-2)in the first round of the Memphis Invite on Sept. 18 and LSU's Jennifer Nowland/Sloane Matis (8-4) in the opening round of the Rice Classic on Sept. 25.

2008-09: Appeared in 17 matches as a true freshman, going 5-11 in singles play and 6-16 in doubles competition...went 3-7 in singles play during the dual-match season, posting a 1-2 mark at No. 5 and a 2-5 record at No. 6...teamed with Jessica Lange during the fall to post a 3-3 tournament doubles record and win the Silver Draw at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic from Sept. 26-27...paired with Marcela Fonseca during the spring and went 1-7 at No. 3 doubles.

High School: Five-year letterwinner at Hampton Bays High School for head coach Susan Siegel...named league MVP as a freshman, sophomore and junior and claimed all-league honors from 2003-05...named all-county as a sophomore...helped lead Hampton Bays High to the league title in 2002...also played for the Evert Tennis Academy where she was named the most improved player as a senior.

Personal: Born Sharon Samantha Siegel on Dec. 9, 1989, in Hampton Bays, N.Y...daughter of Bill and Susan Siegel...has one sister, Jennifer, who played collegiate tennis at Hofstra...father, Bill, also played tennis at Hofstra and is a member of the school's Athletic Hall of Fame...majoring in English.
