Career Note: A one-year letterwinner who transferred to Tulane from Clemson University...career numbers include a 57-24 singles record and a mark of 56-34 in doubles.
2011-12: Was a first team All-Louisiana performer who played in 37 singles matches and 38 doubles contests during her first season at Tulane...completed the season ranked No. 17 in singles and No. 8 in doubles with partner Caroline Thornton among Southern Region players... posted a team-best 30-7 singles record and joined classmate Caroline Thornton at No. 2 doubles to lead the squad with a 28-4 doubles record...Magnusson's 30 singles wins ranked among the top C-USA players... played at the No. 4 position in the line-up where she was 17-3 in dual action and put together an 11-match win streak during the spring...was a perfect 6-0 against C-USA players and 17 of her 20 victories during the spring came in straight sets...her 30 victories was the most in eight years by a Tulane player and she and Thornton recorded the most wins by a C-USA doubles team...Magnusson and Thornton posted a mark of 20-2 at the No. 2 position and was 1-0 at the top spot for a 21-2 dual record this spring...the tandem helped Tulane win 20 of 25 doubles points and strung together a season-best 10-match win streak during the spring.
2010-11: Posted an 18-10 in singles competition with a 15-7 showing during the dual-match season and a 7-4 mark in conference play. After posting a 7-11 mark in doubles play as a rookie, Magnusson went 17-17 in pairs play during the 2010-11 campaign...named to All-ACC Academic Women's Tennis Team
2009-10: Went 11-7 overall in singles play, including an 8-3 dual-match record and a 6-1 showing in ACC action, and chalked up a 7-11 doubles record during her freshman campaign.
High School: Ranked as high as No. 140 in the IFT World Junior Rankings.
Personal: Majoring in business marketing...Born Caroline Lovisa Magnusson on January 1, 1990...the daughter of Ingrid and Bjorn Magnusson...a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and the Tulane 3.0 Club.
