Green Wave opens with the first of three home matches this weekend
Career Note: A three-year letterwinner who begins her senior campaign with career records of 18-16 in singles play and 19-26 in doubles action.
2010-11: Played in both nine singles and doubles matches as a junior and was 6-3 in both areas...did not see action in dual play and produced her win-loss total during tournament play...put together back-to-back wins three times during the fall in singles...teamed with Sharon Siegel in doubles and the duo won a season-best three straight matches on two occasions during fall tournament play...did not see action in dual matches...off the court, was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
2009-10: Played in eight matches as a sophomore, going 5-3 in singles play and 2-6 in doubles action...ranked tied for fourth on the team in tournament singles wins (5)...did not see action during the dual-match season...teamed with Sharon Siegel in fall doubles play...off the court, was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club, and earned C-USA Academic Medal honors after posting a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
2008-09: Appeared in 28 matches as a true freshman, tallying a 7-10 singles record and an 11-17 doubles mark...finished tied for sixth on the team in singles wins (7) after going 5-6 in dual-match play and 2-4 in tournament action...played primarily No. 5 singles where she went 4-3 but was also 1-0 at No. 4 and 0-3 at No. 6...in doubles, was 8-14 in dual matches - including a 4-3 C-USA record - and 3-3 in tournaments...teamed with Caroline Gerber to go 5-8 during the spring; 4-8 at No. 2 and 1-0 at No. 3, went 3-6 at No. 3 with Marcela Fonseca...joined forces with Sharon Siegel to go 3-3 during the fall, including a 3-0 sweep of the Silver Draw at the Alison Fall Classic from Sept. 26-27...off the court, was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club, and earned C-USA Academic Medal honors after posting a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Starr's Mill High School for head coach Ron Mann...ranked No. 10 in the state and posted undefeated records in No. 1 singles play as a freshman and senior...named Fayette County Girls MVP as a sophomore...helped guide Starr's Mill High to the region championship as a freshman, sophomore and junior, to the state title as a junior, and to the Final four all four prep seasons...off the court, was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Habitat For Humanity, Relay For Life and Walk For Autism...graduated third in a class of 400...named AP Calculus Student of the Year as a senior and Most Outstanding Choral Student all four years.
