Student-athletes maintained a grade point average of 3.0 or better

2013-14: Produced a 10-16 overall mark with an 8-12 dual record ... Primarily played at the No. 2 singles position where she accumulated a 6-10 record, but also received some at No. 1 with a 2-2 mark ...Went 2-1 against Conference USA opponents ... Ended the season on a three match win streak, defeating foes from UTSA, East Carolina and Old Dominion ... Doubled her overall doubles victories from the previous season with a 12-14 record ... Stayed .500 or better in doubles for the second straight dual season (9-9) ... Went 2-0 in doubles in conference play ... Notable doubles victories include LSU's Holloway/Taylor and Long Beach State's Rozenberg/Gerard.

Played in 28 singles matches and 22 doubles contests as a true freshman...chalked up a 17-6 singles record, including a mark of 11-5 in dual matches, and was 6-1 in tournament play and 2-1 in Conference USA contests...played primarily at the No. 4 spot in the singles line-up and chalked up a 10-3 mark at that spot and was 1-1 at No. 2 and 0-1 at No. 5...won her final six singles matches to conclude her rookie campaign...11 of her 17 wins came in straight sets...won her first six singles matches to begin her collegiate campaign...was 6-8 in doubles play and teamed with Klara Vyskocilova at the top spot for a 5-5 record.

High School: A right-hander, who prepped at the Hisar Schools...claimed four straight tennis championships and also captured several titles in table tennis at her school (boys and girls)...one of the top tennis players in Istanbul, she claimed both the tennis and table tennis titles and received the IMG Academy Bollettieri Player of the Week in July 2011...was the No. 8-ranked player in her country's age group and sports a combined record of 13-5 in singles and doubles in her final season...was a two-year member of the model United Nations.

Personal: Undecided on a major...born December 4, 1994 in Istanbul, Turkey...the daughter of Sedat and Esra Birol...named to both the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and the Tulane 3.0 Club as a freshman.
