Summer 2004: Represented Trinidad & Tobago in the 2004 Summer Olympics in the 100-meter freestyle...qualified for Olympics after posting a 58.00 in the 100 free at a meet sanctioned by the Trinidad & Tobago Olympic Committee on July 14 in Trinidad.
2003-04: Conference USA Freshman Swimmer of the Year and NCAA Championship participant...led team in scoring at the C-USA Championship with 56 individual points and 118 relay points...won league title in the 50 free (23.08) and 100 free (50.13) while finishing third in the 100 breast (1:03.95)...all three finishes were personal bests and U.S. Open Cut qualifying times, both freestyle times were NCAA "B" Cut and U.S. National Cut marks, and the 100 free time was a meet record...posted career times in both the 50-meter free and 100-meter free at the NCAA Championship with times of 26.09 and 56.82, respectively...also won 16 individual dual-meet titles and helped the relay teams post nine victories.
High School: Attended St. Joseph's Convent where she focused on business studies...represented Trinidad & Tobago at international meets for the past six years, and was named 2002 National Sportswoman of the Year by the Trinidad & Tobago Olympic Committee...she finished 10th in the 50-meter free and 19th in the 100-meter free while helping the relay teams finish 6th in the 4x100 medley relay and eighth in the 4x100 free relay at the 2003 Pan Am Games in Santo Domingo...was a finalist in the 100-meter free and won the bronze medal in the 50-meter free at the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games in El Salvador...also competed in the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
