High School: Four-year letterwinner at Campolindo High for coach Marie Estorage...won the league meet and made both cuts in the sectionsls as a freshman...also lettered in soccer...away from the pool, Kjell was a Bronze, Silver and Gold Award recipient as a member of the Girl Scouts.
