2003-04: Won five individual dual-meet events and helped the relay teams post seven victories...scored 28 individual points and 114 relay points at the Conference USA Championship...swam personal-best and U.S. Open Cut qualifying time in the preliminaries of the 50 free (23.64) and a season-best in the preliminaries of the 100 back (58.95) at the league meet...helped 200 medley, 400 medley, 200 free and 400 free relay teams post season-best times at the C-USA Championship...won the 100 back, 200 back and 500 free vs. Florida A&M and Delta State (Jan. 17)...named to C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, Tulane's 3.0 Club and Dean's List.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at University High for coach Mike Ward...earned NISCA All-America honors in five events as a senior, including automatic All-American recognition in the 50 free, 100 back, 200 free relay and 400 free relay...named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American her final two prep seasons, and NISCA All-American in the 50 free and 400 free relay as a junior...earned All-Star honors from the Arizona Daily Star and Tucson Citizen all four years as a prepster and helped the team win the Nike Classic as a senior...as a sophomore, claimed 5A Southern Region Championship in the 100 back and was a finalist in the 50 free...helped lead the Rangers to the 4A Sonoran Region championship as a junior and senior, and helped the team finish runner-up at the 4A state championships as a senior...as a senior, finished state runner-up in the 100 back after finishing runner-up in the 50 free as a junior...named team MVP as a junior and voted team captain as a senior...away from the pool, was a member of the orchestra and ecology club...placed in the Top 10 percent at the Arizona State Math Contest and was twice named to Who's Who in High School Sports.

Club: Swam for Tucson Ford Dealers Aquatics for coach Roric Fink...earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-America honors in 2002 and broke a 20-year old state mark in the 200 free relay which also won the Four Corners Sectional Championship in the summer of 2001...competed in six USA Swimming Sectional Championships...posted a national-reportable time of 23.91 in the 50 free in 2003.

Personal: Born Katherine Bridget McCoy on March 21, 1985 in Sandy, Utah...daughter of Doug and Cindy McCoy...has two brothers, Matthew and Patrick...chose Tulane over Bucknell, Colgate, Kenyon College, Lehigh, Texas A&M, Trinity and Truman State...majoring in business.
