High School: Four-year letterwinner at Highland Park High for coach Jesse Cole...helped the Scots post four straight VIL 4A district titles, four straight regional championships, and four consecutive state titles...named USA Swimming Scholastic All-American all four years as a prepster, and earned NISCA All-America honors in the 400 free relay as a sophomore and senior...claimed all-state honors all four years in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay...was a state finalist in the 100 free, 200 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay four straight years...was a state medalist in the 200 free as a senior after finishing third at the championship meet...earned Captain's Award as HPHS' hardest worker as a freshman...posted top times of 53.03 in the 100 free at the 2008 Class 4A Texas State Meet and 1:54.12 in the 200 free at the 2009 event...away from the pool, was a member of the National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, and served as public relations officer for the Fashion Club...graduated Cum Laude and was a Young Epidemiology Scholar Regional Finalist.
