2011-12: Swam in all nine meets as a senior...posted top times of 23.80 in the 50 free during a time trial at the C-USA Championship (Feb. 18), 51.75 in the 100 free at the C-USA Championship finals (Feb. 18), 59.69 in the 100 fly during the preliminaries at the UH Cougar Classic (Nov. 18) and 1:54.79 in the 200 free during the preliminaries of the C-USA Championship (Feb. 17)...tallied seven individual top three finishes: winning the 50 free vs North Texas and vs Vanderbilt; coming in second in the 50 free at LSU and in the 100 free vs Vanderbilt; and touching the wall third in the 100 free at LSU, vs North Texas and at San Diego State...earned third-team All C-USA honors in the 200 free relay...also helped the relay teams post nine other top three finishes: winning the 200 medley and 400 free vs North Texas and the 400 free vs Vanderbilt; coming in second in the 200 medley vs Vanderbilt and 400 free at LSU; and finishing third in the 200 medley at LSU and at Alabama, and in the 200 and 400 free at the Houston Tri-Meet.
2010-11: Participated in six events as junior...posted top times of 23.88 in the 50 free at the Conference USA Championship (Feb. 24), 52.00 in the 100 free (Nov. 20) and 1:54.21 in the 200 free (Nov. 19) at the Phil Hansel Cougar Classic Invitational, and 2:14.24 in the 200 IM at San Diego State (Jan. 8)...had a pair of top three individual finishes: coming in second in the 50 free and 100 free at Vanderbilt and in the 100 free vs LSU; and finishing third in the 50 free vs LSU...helped the relay teams post eight top three finishes: winning the 400 free at Vanderbilt and vs LSU, and the 800 free at San Diego State; coming in second in the 200 free and 400 medley at San Diego State and in the 400 medley at SDSU; and finishing third in the 200 free at the Phil Hansel Invite and in the 200 medley at San Diego State...away from the pool, claimed C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane 3.0 Club recognition.
Prior To Tulane: Two-year letterwinner at the University of Miami...as a sophomore during the 2009-10 season, posted top times of 24.08 in the 50 free, 52.71 in the 100 free and 1:55.76 in the 200 free...helped the Hurricane's 400 free relay team clock a season-best 3:25.32 with a second-leg showing of 51.72...as a true freshman in 2008-09, had three top five finishes in the 50 free and three more in the 100 free while participating in three 200 free events...posted top times of 24.19 in the 50 free, 52.62 in the 100 free and 1:54.37 in the 200 free...helped Miami post a win over Florida Atlantic in the 200 free (1:40.59) with a lead-off leg of 25.48...also participated in the 400 free and 800 free relays...also posted top five finishes in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles in the 2010 Egyptian Swimming Federation National Championships and was part of the Egyptian national record-setting 800 free relay team.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Monterey High for coach Dezi Pettas...set four school records, including high-water marks in the 100 free, 100 fly and 200 IM, and was a 14-time all-league champion...helped lead her team to a CCS Championship as a senior after finishing as a state finalist in the 50 free with a time of 24.8 while claiming Scholastic All-America honors and team MVP recognition...as a junior, earned CCS title in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12 and in the 100 fly at 1:01, and finished runner-up in the 100 back with a mark of 1:01.9...away from the pool, was the leader of the MHS drum line.
