High School: Four-year letterwinner at Palisades Charter High for coaches Adam Blakis and Maggie Nance...earned All-America honors in the 50 and 100 free as a junior, and in the 200 free as a senior...named Palisadian Post Athlete of the Year as a senior, and set school marks in the 50 and 100 free, and 200 free relay...named team MVP all four prep seasons...helped Palisades Charter post four consecutive Marine League Championships and the L.A. City Championships as a freshman, sophomore and junior...away from the pool, was a member of the Principal's Honor Roll and earned Scholastic All-CIF honors and the Kodak Young Leaders Award.

Club: Swam for Palisades Malibu YMCA from 1994-2004 under coach Adam Blakis...advanced to the YMCA Nationals every season from 1999-2004, and made it all the way to the finals from 2002-04...made the U.S. Open Cut in 2004 in the 50-meter freestyle...top times are 23.86 in the 50 free, 52.31 in the 100 free and 58.71 in 100 fly.
