New Orleans - Tulane junior Janine Fellows fired a 2-over par 74, but the Green Wave fell six sports from seventh to 13th place after combining for a 19-over par 307 total during the second round of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships at the Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.

Fellows had the hot hand for the Green Wave during today's second round and is six-over par through two rounds, which is good enough for 24th place. She notched a pair of birdies on the front nine for an even round score through the first nine holes, but two bogeys on the back nine upended her bid for an even par round or better.

Junior Linn Gustafsson , who was the Wave's first round leader, registered a second round 4-over par 76 and fell to 29th overall. Gustafsson struggled on the back nine but produced birdies on two (16, 18) of her last three holes to end the round on a high note.

Sophomore Stephanie Wagstaff matched her first round score with a 5-over par 77 on Saturday and sits in 47th place at 10-over par. Like Gustafsson, Wagstaff birdied the 18th hole to complete her round.

Freshman Maribel Lopez Porras struggled during today's second round and took a 10-over par 82 into the clubhouse and dropped to 74th place, while sophomore Samantha Troyanovich carded an 8-over par 80 and is 78th.

Host and 18th ranked Tennessee continued to take advantage of one of its home courses with a 3-over par effort today, and still holds the lead with a two-round ,2-under par 291 total. The Lady Vols are eight strokes ahead of second place and No. 22 Louisville (+6), while South Carolina is third at 16-over par. Kent State (+20) and No. 12 Florida (+23) are fourth and fifth, respectively.

After Tennessee placed two of its players among the top three first round finishers, Louisville took the lead in the second round with two players holding down the top two spots in the field, including Sara-Maude Juneau (-3) in first place and Laura Anderson (-2) is tied with Tennessee's Nathalie Mansson (-2) for second place.
