NEW ORLEANS - The 20th-ranked Tulane combined for a 14-over 299 total on the final day of the M&F Bank Rebel Intercollegiate and posted a third place finish at the Ole Miss Golf Course in Oxford, Miss.
The Green Wave has now finished among the Top-5 teams in all four tournaments this spring and for the sixth time in eight outings this season.
Sophomore Gemma Dryburgh had the low round for the Wave today, firing a 1-under 71 for her best round of the tournament and finished in 28th place. Senior Maribel Lopez Porras carded a 3-over 75 and tied for 24th place with teammate, freshman Emily Penttila, who logged a 5-over 77 during the final round. Freshman Silvia Garces also went to the clubhouse with a 5-over 77, but managed a 19th place finish.
Freshman Madison Opfer fired a 4-over 76 for a 12th place, the best finish of her young career.
Coastal Carolina led from wire-to-wire to claim the team title, while Baylor was second, followed by Tulane, East Tennessee State in fourth place and Kentucky was fifth.
On the individual leaderboard, Coastal Carolina's Jessica Alexander overtook second round leader Hayley Davis from Baylor by one stroke to claim medalist honors.
The Green Wave returns to action at the Conference USA Championships, April 22-24, at the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club in Gulf Shores, Ala.
