Highlights from the final day of the 2012 Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Golf Championship.

Tulane: One of the program's most decorated golfers...a four-year letterwinner and two-time honorable mention All-American in 2011 and 2013...the school's only multiple All-American selection...named the 2013 Conference USA Golfer of the Year...played 123 rounds in 42 events and completed her career with a 74.54 (9169 strokes) scoring average...has 19 Top-20 finishes, including 10 among the Top-10...finished par or better 36 times, including a career-best 6-under 67 as a senior during the second round of the NCAA Championships...her best 54-hole total was a 7-under 209, which came at the 2012 Alamo Invitational...a three-time All C-USA First Team performer, including first team honors in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and was a third team selection in 2010...a two-time member of the All C-USA Tournament team in 2011 and 2012...became the first individual player in school history to qualify for the NCAA Championships with her 2011 selection...a two-time first team All-Louisiana pick...has two career individual titles and is just the fifth golfer in school history to claimed two or more career tournament titles...captured her first individual title at the 2012 Conference USA Championships and claimed her second at the 2012 Alamo Invitational...recorded the highest finish by a Tulane golfer at the 2013 NCAA Championships with a 14th place effort.

Senior (2012-13): A 2013 Honorable Mention All-American and the 2013 Louisiana Golfer of the Year...Tulane's top golfer, who completed the season ranked No. 38 by Golfstat.com on May 28...posted a school-record 14th place finish at NCAA Championships and posted a career-best and tied the school record for the lowest individual round with a 5-under 67 during the second round of the NCAA Championships...played 30 rounds in 10 events and sported a school single season record 73.30 (2,199 strokes) scoring average...named to the All C-USA and All-LSWA first teams for the third time in her career...carded 13 rounds of par or better...notched three Top-5 efforts and six Top-20 finishes...was the runner-up at the LSU Golf Classic...her score has counted in 27 of the 30 rounds she has played...twice named the C-USA Golfer of the Week (11/2/12 & 3/27/13) and was the Tulane Athletics Student-Athlete of the Year for the second straight season.

Fall 2012: Played nine rounds in three events and sported a 73.22 (659 strokes) scoring average...captured the 2012 Alamo Invitational with a career-best 7-under 209 total, which was also her best 54-hole total, and the second best 54-hole total in school history...finished par or better on four occasions, including tying her career-best with a 4-under 68 during the opening round of the Alamo Invitational and finished in the Top-10 in two of three tournaments...was one of three golfers selected to represent her home country of Colombia at the 2012 World Amateur Championships, Sept. 23-26, at the Antalya Golf Club (Sultan Course) and the Cornelia Golf Club in Antalya, Turkey.

Junior (2011-12): A first team All C-USA and All-Louisiana performer...claimed individual medalist honors at the Conference USA Championships with an even-par 216 for her first collegiate title and was also tabbed to the C-USA All-Tournament team for the second straight year...led the Wave with a 75.36 average (2110 strokes) and recorded three top-10 finishes, along with seven rounds of par or better...her best 54-hole total was at the C-USA Champs, while her lowest round of the season came were a pair of 3-under 69s, which came during the opening round of the UCF Challenge and the first round of the Battle of Rancho Bernardo Inn.

Fall 2011: Played 12 rounds in four tournaments and sported a 77.75 (933 strokes) scoring average...her best round was an even-par outing during the second round of the Mo Morial, while best finish of 23rd was at the same event... her best 54-hole total was a 223 at the Tar Heel Invitational.

Sophomore (2010-11): Received honorable mention All-America honors and was named 2011 Conference USA Golfer of the Year and was named to the All C-USA and All-Louisiana first teams... the first individual player in school history to play in the NCAA Championships...named to the 2011 C-USA Championship All-Tournament team and garnered C-USA Golfer of the Week honors on March 2, 2011...ranked as high as 18th nationally and completed the season ranked 40th...played 34 rounds in 10 events and logged a 74.13 (2511 strokes) scoring average... the 74.13 stroke average in 2010-11 ranks second all-time among TU's single season golfers...produced four top-10 finishes...recorded a season-best fifth-place finish on three different occasions (Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship, the LSU Golf Classic and the C-USA Championships), while her best 54-hole score was a 2-under 214 at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Golf Championship...finished par or better on 12 times.

Fall 2010: Played 12 rounds in four tournaments and logged a 73.33 (880 strokes) scoring average, which ranked second on the team...posted five rounds of par or better, including a fall-best 3-under 69 during the second round of The Fall Preview...registered a pair of top-20 performances...top finish was 13th place at the Alamo Invitational, while her 54-hole total 217s at The Fall Preview and Alamo Invitational are tied for her career low.

Freshman (2009-10): The 2010 Louisiana Freshman of the Year and third team All-Conference USA selection...played 31 rounds in 11 tournaments and turned in a 75.77 (2,349 strokes) scoring average during her rookie season, which ranked third on the team...produced four rounds of par or better, including a career-low 4-under 68 during the second round of the Windy City Collegiate, which ranks as the second-lowest round in school history...registered three top-20 showings, including an eighth place effort at the 2010 C-USA Championships...tied her low 54-hole total of 220 three times.

Fall 2009: Played seven rounds in three tournaments (two rounds were cancelled due to inclement weather) and recorded her first top-20 finish with an 18th place showing at the Windy City Classic...posted a career-best 4-under 68 at the Windy City Classic...finished the fall with a 76.43 scoring average.

Summer 2009: Earned Laura Diaz first team All-America honors on the Future Collegians World Tour for 2008-09 and was one of 10 All-Americans on the first team that combined to win 26 and 36 top three finishers on the futures tour...picked up an important victory when she won her country's open championship with a one stroke victory at the 2009 Colombian Open. She battled windy and tough conditions all week before she came out victorious in her national event.

Prior to Tulane: Received a scholarship from the Colombian Golf Federacion to attend the prestigious David Ledbetter Golf Academy and spent her final season at Bradenton Prep in Bradenton, Fla.

High School: Notched top international victories and finished in the top seven in six outings in the Future Collegians Tour, including top finishes at The Legends at Orange Lake Open, the Mission Inn-El Campion Open and logged second place at the Golf Club of Bridgewater Open...other top tournament showings included a second place in her home country in the Colombian Open, a top-10 finish at the Doral Publix Junior Classic in Miami, Fla., and a pair of the victories in the Ross Blakie Talbot International Junior Classic in Bermuda in 2007 and 2008...also won the Militar Country Club Open and the Serrezuela Country Club Open in 2008, and was fourth in the SudAmerican Amateur Tournament and turned in a 25th place performance in the Callaway Junior World Championship in Santee, Calif., in 2008.

Personal: A communication major with a minor in political science...born Maribel Lopez Porras on December 14, 1991...daughter of Maribel and Jose Lopez...her mother is a pilot and captain for the airline Avianca of Colombia, one of the oldest airlines in Colombia and the world.
