2012 Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Golf Championsip - Day 3

Highlights from the final day of the 2012 Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Golf Championship.

Tulane: A one-year letterwinner...has played 84 rounds in 28 events and has a career 76.75 (6447 strokes) scoring average...has shot par or better 10 times, including a career-best 4-under 68 at the 2009 LSU Golf Classic...has four top-20 finishes and two top-10 showings...the Conference USA and Louisiana Newcomer of the Year...named to the Conference USA Championship All-Tournament team...her best 54-hole total was a 217 at the 2009 LSU Golf Classic, while lowest round was a 4-under 68 at the same event...transferred to Tulane following the 2009-10 campaign from North Carolina State.

Senior (2011-12): Did not play in during the spring due to an injury and received a redshirt.

Fall 2011: Saw action in the first two tournaments before an injury sidelined her for the remainder of the season...played six rounds in two tournaments and logged a 79.83 (479 strokes)...her best round was a 4-over 76 during the second round of the Mo Morial, while her best 54-hole total was a 235 at the same event.

Junior (2010-11): Named the Conference USA and Louisiana Newcomer of the Year and was selected to the Conference USA Championship All-Tournament team...played 24 rounds in eight tournaments and completing the year with a 76.75 (1842 strokes) scoring average...finished par or better three times, including a season-best 1-under 71 during the second round of the Lady Rebel Intercollegiate...posted her best finish and 54-hole effort with a third-place effort and 221 total at the 2011 Conference USA Championships...registered a 19th-place finish at the Lady Rebel Intercollegiate.

Fall 2010: Played six rounds in two tournaments and posted a 76.50 (459 strokes) scoring average...best round came in the opener at the Golfweek Conference Challenge where she shot even par...best finish was 33rd at the Alamo Invitational.

Sophomore (2009-10 at North Carolina State): Played 27 rounds in nine events and logged a team-best stroke average of 75.9 (2050)...notched two top-20 finishes, including 20th place at the Tiger-Wave Golf Classic and 14th at the UNCG Starmount, and registered a top-10 finish with a ninth place showing at the Pinehurst Collegiate...finished par or better four times, including a season-best 3-under 69 during the second round of the Tar Hill Invitational...her best 54-hole total came at the Pinehurst Collegiate with a 6-over 222 total (72-76-74)...helped the Wolfpack to two top-10 finishes and a pair of top-5 efforts.

Fall 2009: Had a team-best 75.3 stroke average...finished tied for 29th at Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships...shot a three-under par 69 during Lady Tar Heel Invitational to finish tied for 38th at +7 (76-69-79=223)...finished team-best tied for 14th at UNCG Starmount Fall Classic with 54-hole score of +15 (81-75-72=228)...shot +9 (71-74-75=220) at Cougar Classic at Yeamans Hall Club.

Summer of 2009: Tied for 12th at the Women's Eastern Amateur Championship in Wintergreen, Va.

Freshman (2008-09 at North Carolina State): Earned a spot in the starting lineup in all four fall events and played in nine of 10 overall during her first year with NC State...her 76.9 stroke average was good for third on the team and was the 12th best single season average in school history...tied the school record with a four-under 68 at the LSU Golf Classic to finish tied for 16th at +1 (72-77-68=217)...shot a three-under-par 69 in the final round of the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships to finished tied for 28th at +7 (78-76-69=223)...all but one of her 12 rounds counted towards the team score in the four fall events... showed tendency to finish strong by shooting an average of 75.9 during the final round of a tournaments - the second best mark on the team...also ranked second in par-3 scoring, birdies, pars per round and fewest bogeys per round...was part of a team that turned in four top-5 finishes and one top-10 showing.

High School: Competed on both the Seminole High School boy's and girl's golf teams over four seasons...a four-time all-county selection... won the sectional girl's tournament in 2007 at East Lake Golf Course with a round of 75 to advance to the regional tournament, where she placed second with a 75 at the Innisbrook Golf Resort in October of 2007...was a two-time Pinellas County Player of the Year...finished as the runner-up at the high school sectional girl's tournament with another round of 75 at Belleview Biltmore Golf Club in 2006...followed that up with a second-place finish at the Region 5 tournament at Manatee County Golf Course by firing an even-par 72...finished third at the District 13 Tournament and eighth at the Region 5 Tournament in 2005...won the Innisbrook Easter Tournament and then a match play event at the Golf Club in Naples, Fla....also won the District 13 Tournament in 2004, wound up second at the Region 5 Tournament and ultimately placed eighth at the high school state tournament at The Saints' Golf Course in Port St. Lucie.

Personal: Majoring in Psychology and Communication...born Meghan Elizabeth Chapman on March 20, 1990, in Rapid City, S.D....one of two daughters of Pat and Scott Chapman...a three-time member of the Tulane 3.0 Club and the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
