On the match-up between Tulane and Ole Miss
"Obviously, when you play an SEC team, it's going to be physical. They've had a very difficult schedule, but they're a good team. We're going to have to play well. Just because it's here, I don't think that's an advantage for us at all. We're going to have to play a good game."
On the quality of completion the Green Wave will face over the next few weeks
"I think you play good competition to challenge yourself. We're going to be better after playing N.C. State. We learned a lot and took a lot out of that game. Playing Ole Miss, I think we'll be better after it. We're going to have to be ready to step up and play against good competition."
On the way her team is playing through five games
"I like a lot of things about this team. I think we're very unselfish. We play hard. I've been really impressed, up until last weekend, with our rebounding. That's something we have to get back to. We're getting a lot of good play from different players. You've got Jamie Kaplan who is distributing the ball very well. Adesuwa is really rebounding, Chinwe is having a very good year. Obviously, our freshman have really contributed and adding Danielle into that mix is really a positive for us. She has been our all-conference player and she's going to be somebody who will be very important for us."
On the impact Chinwe Duru and Leslie Vorpahl have made so far this season
"Chinwe has worked very hard to be in this position. She's in the best shape that she's been in and she's given us a scoring presence in the post that we haven't really had in a while. Leslie is just shooting so well. She's shooting well, she's distributing the ball and she's another ball handler out there. We've been able to play her at the two so we really have some ball-handling ability out there. When you look at her percentages against these very good teams, it's very impressive."
