NEW ORLEANS - Tulane University head basketball coaches Ed Conroy and Lisa Stockton will put their preseason preparations on hold for a day as the two program leaders will participate in Conference USA's 2013 Basketball Media Day on Tuesday in Irving, Texas.

The league's head coaches from the men's and women's teams of all 16 member schools will sit down with host Ron Thulin to discuss the excitement of the upcoming 2013-14 season. Live video streaming for the event is available for free on the Internet via the C-USA Digital Network starting at 9 a.m. (CDT).

Conroy will join the broadcast at approximately 12:30 p.m. while Stockton will join the conversation about 20 minutes later. To follow all of the action, log onto the web at www.ConferenceUSA.com.

A charter member of Conference USA dating back to 1995-96 season, Tulane will play its final campaign as a C-USA member this year before moving on to the American Athletic Conference in all sports in 2014-15. The conference will have a bit of a new look in 2013-14 as Tulane is joined by league staples East Carolina, Marshall, Rice, Southern Miss, Tulsa, UAB and UTEP. Conference USA will welcome Charlotte - which was a member of C-USA from 1995-2005 - Florida Atlantic (FAU), Florida International (FIU), Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Old Dominion and Texas-San Antonio (UTSA) to the league this season.

Coaches from Charlotte, East Carolina, FIU, Florida Atlantic, LA Tech, Marshall, Middle Tennessee and North Texas will do interviews in four segments beginning at 9 a.m. while coaches from Old Dominion, Rice, Southern Miss, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, UTEP and UTSA will begin their live stream at 12:20 p.m.

The Green Wave open the basketball season with a double-header on Friday, Nov. 8, in Devlin Fieldhouse when the women's team takes on University of New Orleans at 6 p.m. followed by a men's contest against New Jersey Institute of Technology at approximately 8 p.m.
