On Monday night's opponent, the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles
"When you get this far in the postseason, everybody you play is going to be good. This will certainly be a big challenge for us because they can score. They are going to present a lot of different things defensively for us. We've got to be ready to play again against a very quality opponent."
On the opportunity to advance to the third round of a postseason tournament for the first time in school history
"I certainly think it would be exciting for the program. I think this team had its sights set on doing something special. This is our chance to get our name in the record books as far as what we can accomplish. I think when you play in the WNIT, you have to have the idea that you want to see how far you can go. This team has some games left in them."
On if playing home/road games in the WNIT makes it more difficult to advance
"Playing in the WNIT is much tougher in many ways than in the NCAA Tournament. I'm not talking about opponents, but I'm talking about the travel, playing on the road and not knowing who your opponent is going to be. Everything is up in the air, even as far as not know when we're going back home. There are a lot of uncertainties and your approach has to be that you're in it for the ride and I think our team is."
On if her team is enjoying its postseason ride to date
"I think so. I think this team enjoys being together and I think they're having fun. It's tough to come up here this early, but if you look back to last year, Tulsa was a good place for us. We know the city and it's not a bad place to be. We're excited to be here and we're ready to play."
