Overall thoughts on the matchup
"It's a game that we're excited about. We've got two people going home who are very excited about playing in front of the home crowd in Danielle Blagg and Leslie Vorpahl. It's a team that has some dangerous weapons. They've been in a lot of games and just haven't been able to pull them off. We're going to have to play very well."
On the UTSA defense
"I think they're really going to try and stall our game out a lot. They give you a lot of zone pressure, pressure up on the ball and try to make fewer possessions in the game. We have to come out and be aggressive offensively. That'll probably be the key to the game - our offensive output."
On her team looking for a bounce-back performance following Wednesday's game against North Texas
"I give North Texas a lot of credit. They played very, very well and we were fortunate to win that game. I just want to see a lot more intensity from our team and bit more focus. This is a game that we hope we have our players' attention for on the road."
On the keys to coming away from the game on top
"One thing is to stop their transition and the other is to get our offense flowing. In the last few games, our offense has been a bit stagnant. We've got to get to where we're comfortable and work that inside-outside that we've been pretty good at."
On having fans in the stands with two San Antonio natives on the roster
"The Rice situation certainly gave our team a lot of energy. It was a great atmosphere in there and I think San Antonio will be very similar. To bring those kids home and even have some of their high school teammates out there to watch them, they're excited about it. I think it'll help our team get energized for the game."
On Tulane having different players step up on different nights
"That's really been a key to our success - just having that balance. It's been having different players when one player is off, someone else can step up. Courtnie Latham was a huge factor in our North Texas win, and it's nice to see her with that kind of confidence. We're able to rely on a lot of different people, and that makes us a little tougher to defend."
