On Tulane looking to bounce back from an overtime loss to Southern Miss
"It was a game we certainly need to rebound from. Obviously, we are disappointed with the Southern Miss game and just how we played in that game. Coming back, I think our team is pretty tough and we're ready to rebound. To this point, we've played well on the road."

On her team being 5-0 in `road' games
"I think we've always been a team that has played well on the road. Sometimes, you get rid of the distractions that exist at home. You come, the team is together. We've kind of got a small group so we're really able to focus on what we need to do."

On how her team gets along with each other
"I think they're tight. Last year, our success was about chemistry and we returned a lot of players. This group really likes each other. They like hanging out together. A lot of time, that does transfer to the court and what kind of chemistry they show when they're out there."

On being back in the Reynolds Center for the first time since winning the 2010 C-USA Tournament title
"It's the first thing we talked about when we came in here. We didn't really think about it prior to coming here, but when we stepped on the court we talked about the last time we were standing in the middle over there holding up a trophy and holding up a net so it was a lot of fun. I certainly think confidence is a big part of this game, and hopefully we'll come in here and feel confident about the last time we left this court. It's a lot of good memories."

On the Tulsa Golden Hurricane
"I think Tulsa is a much better team than their record shows. They've got a player in a guard like Mayberry who really does so much for them. I don't think you can take them lightly. They've got a lot of young players that are playing key roles for them and those players are going to continue to mature. As that happens, I think they'll start playing well. They do a lot of things well. They don't turn the ball over. They get a lot of steals. They do a lot of things for a young team so we really have to be ready to play, especially be ready to play here."

On Thursday's loss to Southern Miss
"One thing that we've talked about all year is that we're going to get everybody's best game. I saw a lot of film on Southern Miss, and I think that was the best game I saw them play all year by far. They shot the ball better than they have in a long timeand they made some plays. At the end of the game, they made some plays. It wasn't necessarily defensive breakdowns. We certainly could have done things better. I think some free throws down the stretch were key. But this team, we hate to lose. It's something that we have to use as motivation to get better. Now we have to come on the road and get that taste of that loss out of our system."

On if the team has talked about starting another streak beginning tomorrow against Tulsa
"I don't think you talk about streaks as much as you just talk about what's in front of us. You look at the season and what you have in store. You really have to take each game one at a time. In this conference, I think anyone can beat anyone on any given night, so you've got to take every opponent seriously and you have to be ready to play. As cliché as that sounds, that's the way we won the championship last season. We didn't look at the end and what was there. We looked at each game. The team has done a good job of doing that and we just have to keep our focus and keep working to get better."
