Tulane to Celebrate 25 Years of Women's Basketball
25th Anniversary Celebration To Take Place January 26-28

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane University will celebrate 25 years of women's basketball on January 26-28, 2001 and all Tulane fans, as well as all former women's basketball players, are invited to participate.

On Saturday, Jan. 27, the Green Wave will hold a Women's Basketball Silver Anniversary Celebration Dinner at 5:30 p.m. at The House of Blues, 225 Decatur Street, in New Orleans. Tickets are available to the public for $30 per person (including drinks), $15 per child. Advance reservations are required. All former players who wish to attend any of the weekend's festivities should contact the women's basketball office at 504-865-5672.

The 25th Anniversary Celebration tips off on Friday, January 26 as the Tulane Athletics Department and Alumni Affairs sponsor a pre-game block party outside of Fogelman Arena prior to the Tulane-Louisville game at 7 p.m. Music and concession specials will be available.

On Sunday, Jan. 28, former Wave players will be honored during halftime of the Tulane-Cincinnati game in Fogelman Arena. Tip-off for that contest is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tickets for both games, as well as advance reservations for the Celebration Dinner, are available through the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office, 504-861-WAVE.
