Overall thoughts on the game
"They made some great plays but we had some opportunities to finish them. Offensively, I thought we took some bad shots, we didn't hit them, we missed one-and-ones, we missed free throws and they got every (key) rebound. We didn't get a lot of offensive rebounds down the stretch and that was a key. When you're not scoring, you've got to get extra opportunities and you have to get to the free throw line. They made two great plays - one to put it in overtime and one to win. They made great plays, but opened the door to give them those opportunities. We've got to do a better job of answering the challenges."
On if UL-Lafayette did anything differently in the second half to spark the comeback
"They came out real aggressive, they hit some shots and we didn't. We turned the ball over. We missed some shots. It was one-and-done and they'd come back down and hit some shots. It was over a period of time but they did it. We've got to be able to counter with some scores, but we just haven't been able to."
On if she feels the 10-day layoff between games was a factor today
"There is no excuse. For us, if anything we should be more relaxed now because we don't have any more classes. I really put a lot on our seniors. Our seniors have to be better leaders. They've got to really get in peoples' ears and that kind of thing, but they also have to set the example when they're out there. I put a lot on the seniors because we have a lot of young kids...Right now, I feel there is a lack of confidence sometimes. When things go wrong for us, we really lack confidence. We've got to come back and find a way to fight our way out of it."
On the short turnaround before playing host to North Texas on Saturday
"I'm glad we have a short turnaround. This isn't something that's Xs and Os to fix. This is a matter of going out and being able to execute. If it were 10 days before our next game, that would be a long 10 days."
