Head Coach Lisa Stockton
On winning her 400th career game as a collegiate head coach
"What makes it so special is that most of those wins were with Tulane teams. All the teams that we've had here play a part in all of that and it's great memories for me. You don't really focus on the wins as much as you focus on the people that were a part of those. That's what has been so special for me here - all those players who have come through here and seeing all their banners in the rafters. These are times when you reflect on those people."
On defeating Southeastern Louisiana in convincing fashion
"Our schedule has been very good and we felt like this was a game that we needed to take the challenge of just staying intense and trying to do things very fundamentally. I thought we did that tonight, especially when we in the full-court press. We dropped that off, but the full-court press was really the best our team has gotten into those presses and executed them in a while."
On having six players in double figures and Roshaunda Barnes posting a double-double
"That was good to see. As we came down the stretch, we were kind of going for three players with double-doubles tonight. We were close. Roshaunda had a great stat line. For a point guard, sometimes they're just underappreciated with what they do. She's having a great season. Hopefully, this will inspire more from her."
On the state of her team heading into Conference USA play
"We're healthier and I think we have a lot more confidence than we went into the conference season with last year. Brett is certainly healthier. When you look back, this is when our injuries started happening, and now we're kind of coming out of that. Hopefully, that is something that we can build on. Our team knows that this is a tough league and what we've done non-conference doesn't matter if we don't step up and perform in the league."
On giving head coach Lisa Stockton her 400th career win
"It was really good to give coach that win against a pretty good opponent. We are all pretty excited to have won. We're happy for Coach and happy for all of her success."
On dominating Southeastern Louisiana from start to finish
"That was one of our keys. Our focus was to dominate from the beginning. We noticed on film that the teams that really blew them out started off strong and kept it going strong, even when they had some subs. Our emphasis was not to let down when somebody came off the bench, to keep it the intensity up and bring it even higher with the subs."
Senior Forward Danielle Nunn
On if she knew Coach Stockton was going for career win No. 400 before the game
"I did. I knew yesterday at the men's game and I told everyone today, but we weren't supposed to tell her until after we won. We just kind of acted like we didn't know. I'm very excited for her. Coming in as a transfer, it's a new thing for me. Four-hundred wins is a milestone and I'm glad that I could be a part of her 400th win."
On defeating the Lady Lions by 28 points
"We talked about it in our game plan that we wanted to dominate from the beginning and we never let up. We had some lapses in between, but we dominated from the start and that's how we finished as well."
