Was invited to the Canadian National Team try-outs over the summer, just missing a trip to Sydney with the Olympic team.

1999-00: Saw action in all 32 games, earning a starting nod in the final 10 games of the season... Averaged 3.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists, while connecting on 44.0 percent of her shots... Also hit 34.1 percent of her three-pointers... Recorded 15 assists with just one turnover in 88 minutes over three games in the Conference USA Tournament... Dished out two or more assists in 10 of the Wave's final 12 games... Was one of five Tulane players to record a positive assists-to-turnover ratio... Primarily the Wave's defensive specialist, Turnbull picked up her offense production as a junior... Her 101 total points were more than her freshman and sophomore totals combined (69), while her 59 rebounds bettered her two-year combined total of 55... Played in 17 games with one or less turnovers, including seven contests without comitting a miscue... Scored a career-high 10 points in the DoubleTree Classic win over West Virginia... Also earned a start in the NCAA Tournament first-round meeting with St. Joseph's... Averaged 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest... Played 10 games without committing a turnover... Was one of just three Green Wave players to finish the season with a positive assist-to-turnover ratio... Grabbed a crucial steal with just 23 seconds remaining, and Tulane down by one, in the Wave's 52-51 win at VCU...Was 2-for-2 for four points with two rebounds, two assists and two steals in the win at SMU... Added four points, two assists and a steal in the DoubleTree Classic first-round game against Furman... Posted an assist and two steals in the home win over UAB... Grabbed three rebounds, dished out two assists and recorded a steal in the Nokia Sugar Bowl Classic win against cross-town rival New Orleans... 1997-98: Played in 17 games as a true freshman, including the first 13 of the season, before injuring her ankle against UAB... Ended the season averaging 1.6 ppg and 1.6 rpg...Opened her freshman campaign with a career-high five points against Missouri-Kansas City, connecting on a three-pointer in her first collegiate shot attempt... Matched her career high on two other occasions, with five points against both South Alabama and Colorado... Had three assists and three rebounds against South Alabama, as well... Had two steals against Mississippi, South Florida and UAB... Had a career-high four rebounds against LSU.

Prep: Member of the Canadian Junior National team... A three-year member of the Ontario Provincial team that won consecutive national championships in 1995 and 1996... Her club team, Kingston Magic, captured the 1996 and 1997 provincial titles... Her 1996 prep team won the area championship in 1996.

Personal: Full name is Taryn Baudoux Turnbull... Daughter of Tom and Holly Turnbull... Born July 24, 1978... Earned the nickname Goose from her teammates thanks to the follow through motion of her shot.
