Forward Brittany McDonald and guard Olivia Grayson signed National Letters of Intent.
"Brittany and Olivia [Grayson] each fit in well with what our needs for the future." Stockton said. "Both have a great work ethic, are excellent students, and come from highly competitive, winning programs."
McDonald will fill a position coveted by the Green Wave: a true power forward. At 6-1, she led her team and was one of the top rebounders in the state of Georgia. The Gwinnett Daily Post named the Berkmar High School senior to their preseason Super Six on Thursday, as she led Berkmar to the state tournament, ending a 30-year drought for the school.
The two-time all-county player also excelled off the court as a two-year all-academic team honoree.
"Brittany's a player we need: She can step out and hit the outside shot, really runs the floor well, and is an excellent rebounder. She plays in a very tough high school league and they've been successful, making the state tournament last season."
