Dennis Lundberg earned a
trip to the NCAA Tournament

NEW ORLEANS, La. - - Tulane's Dennis Lundberg has earned a bid to the singles draw of the 2000 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships.
Lundberg, a senior from Falkopinj, Sweden, was one of 17 players selected from Region III for the 64-person singles draw. So far this season, Lundberg has turned in a record of 17-6 at No. 1 singles, including wins in his last eight matches. He has also recorded victories in 14 of his last 15 singles matches. Lundnberg has been a first-team All-Conference USA choice in each of the last three seasons after earning second-team honors as a freshman.
The draw, which determines Lundberg's first-round opponent, will be announced on Tuesday, May 23. Competition is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 24. The NCAA Championships will be held in Athens, Ga., on the campus of the University of Georgia.
