NEW ORLEANS, La. - - Tulane men's tennis standouts Dennis Lundberg and Mikko Viljanen have each been named All-Conference USA, the league announced Friday.

Lundberg was named to the All-Conference USA first team, picking up the recognition for the third straight season. So far this season, Lundberg has compiled a record of 15-6 at No. 1 singles and is 15-9 in doubles play with four different teammates. Originally from Falkopinj, Sweden, Lundberg has been a first-team All C-USA choice each of the past three seasons after earning second-team honors as a freshman.

Viljanen, a native of Vantaa, Finland, was named second-team All-Conference USA by the league's coaches. He has posted a record of 12-9 in singles play. Viljanen primarily plays the No. 2 singles spot, but has seen action at five different positions this spring. He has a 12-12 mark in doubles play with two different teammates.

The Green Wave now await word on a bid to the 2000 NCAA Championships. The squad has an overall record of 15-10 and recently finished third at the Conference USA Tournament.
