Michael Kogan cruised to a straight-set victory at No. 1 singles against LSU?s Ken Skupski, the 28th-ranked player in the nation.

At No. 2 singles, Dmitriy Koch clinched the victory for the Green Wave, winning the first set in a tiebreaker, then cruising to a 6-1 win in the second set.

One of the talented newcomers for the Green Wave lineup this season, Ted Angelinos won a marathon match at No. 3, defeating his Tiger foe, 6-1, 4-6, 7-6.

Freshman David Goulet, a top Canadian junior player, dominated his match at No. 4 singles, closing his opponent out first, 6-2, 6-1.

Fiery sophomore Jacobo Hernandez from Mexico posted a convincing 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 5 singles for the Wave.
