Green Wave Looks to Rebound against UTSA

Feb. 4, 2012

NEW ORLEANS - Looking to get back on track after Friday's loss, the Tulane men's tennis team hosts Texas-San Antonio on Sunday at Noon CT at the Goldring Tennis Center.

The Green Wave (2-3) fell, 5-2, to the visiting Florida A&M Rattlers for the first loss at home this season.

UTSA (0-3) faced UL-Lafayette Saturday morning in Lafayette. The Roadrunners have dropped matches at Texas A&M, Wichita State and Air Force to start the season.

"UTSA has had a solid season and will be another tough match for us," Tulane head coach Mark Booras said. "The whole thing about the season is there will be some wins and losses and it is about bouncing back. How are you going to recover whether you've won a match or lost a match. You have to come back the next day and be ready to battle."

Sophomore Takuma Ohashi, who picked up Tulane's lone singles victory on Friday, owns a 3-2 mark on court six in singles to lead the Green Wave.

Tulane will travel down the road to face No. 28 LSU in Baton Rouge on Feb. 10 before return to the Goldring Tennis Center to open Conference USA play against UCF on Feb. 12.
