MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Coming off a successful opening weekend, the Tulane men's tennis team travels to Tennessee this weekend for dual matches against Middle Tennessee State and Vanderbilt.
The Green Wave (2-0) defeated Xavier and New Orleans at City Park last weekend to get the spring dual season underway.
"This is a great weekend opportunity for us," Tulane head coach Mark Booras said. "MTSU and Vanderbilt will both be extremely tough opponents, but we're looking forward to the challenge."
MTSU (3-2), ranked No. 42 in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), is coming off a 5-1 loss to Vanderbilt on Friday in Nashville.
Tulane will face the Blue Raiders at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday.
Vanderbilt (3-2, ranked 44th by the ITA, has won back-to-back matches with a 7-0 victory over Minnesota last weekend in addition to Friday's win over MTSU.
Tulane will battle the Commodores at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday in Nashville.
Following this weekend, the Green Wave will travel to Southern Miss for a Conference USA dual match on Feb. 17.
