WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Tulane men's tennis team picked up five more victories - three in doubles and two in singles - on Saturday afternoon in the final tournament of the fall at the UNC Wilmington Invitational, while Green Wave sophomore Dominik Koepfer and freshman Sebastian Rey recorded wins in the opening round of the qualifying draw at the UTSA Futures Tournament in Niceville, Fla.

Tulane added its five wins on Saturday to the six matches won on Friday at the UNCW Courts. On Saturday, Ian Van Cott and Iain Sneddon both collected singles wins over opponents from the host UNCW, while the two also paired up in doubles to get past a duo from Davidson College.

The duo of Jao Chi-Shan and Alex Van Cott and the tandem of Cedric Rutsaert and Takuma Ohashi collected wins in doubles over Davidson as well.

In Florida, Rey, playing for his home country of Great Britain, edged Roberto Meza of Chile, 6-1, 6-2, in the first round of the qualifier, while Koepfer, playing for Germany, also advanced with a 6-3, 6-2, win over Romania's Andrei Crapcenco. The two will play in the second round on Sunday.
