Coach Klein Says: Plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand. A tough competitor who possesses solid returns on both sides. Also has a solid serve and good volleys. His love of competition makes him a solid partner. A team player with a great attitude.
Fall & Spring 2002: Did not see any action due to injuries.
Fall 2001: Played in five matches, posting a 1-4 record. His first career win came at the Tulane Invitational when he defeated Southern's Benjamin Ncube on Oct. 20. Also teamed with Tatsuhiro Ishii for a 1-1 record in doubles play.
2000-2001: Redshirted the season.
Prep: A graduate of St. Stephen's High School and Tennis Academy, which is known for its strong academic requirements and well-trained tennis players. Ranked in the top 15 in Texas as a junior and senior. Earned all-conference honors as well as team Most Valuable Player accolades. Won the clinching match in the private school state championship twice (as a sophomore and a senior).
Personal: Born September 29, 1981 in Willingboro, N.J. (the hometown of track and field great Carl Lewis). The son of Michael and Renee Cinalli. Majoring in business.
