NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Tulane University Athletic Department will hold its Sixth Annual "Hullabaloo Homecoming" on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the James W. Wilson, Jr. Center, two days before the Green Wave football team hosts Conference USA foe Memphis for Homecoming 2007 at the Louisiana Superdome.
Chaired by Betsy Laborde and Brenda Dickson with assistance from event consultant Pat Denechaud, the Hullabaloo Homecoming is a fundraising event and membership and will feature samples from New Orleans' finest restaurants, open bar and a silent auction.
"We're very excited about this year's Hullabaloo Homecoming festivities," Tulane Assistant Athletic Director Laborde said. "We've got a great group of restaurants lined up to provide food and beverages and a plethora of quality items for a silent auction. This is the first time since 2004 that the event will be held on campus and we're looking forward to a great turnout."
The Open Reception is slated to run from 7-10 p.m. and the Hullabaloo Homecoming will also host a Patron Party from 5:30-7 p.m., which includes admission to the Open Reception, a private tour of the new Turchin Stadium (baseball) conducted by Tulane coaches and student-athletes, and a cocktail party in the baseball clubhouse.
Tickets to the Open Reception are $50 each and include a parking spot in the Diboll Parking Garage, while Patron Party Tickets are available for $125 and includes a VIP parking in front of the Wilson Center.
