Fall 2004: Competed as an individual at the University Club Intercollegiate in Baton Rouge and carded a low round of four-over par 76 in the event. Recorded another perfect (4.0) semester in the classroom to qualify for the Tulane Scholar-Athlete List as well as the Dean's List. 2003-04: Did not see any tournament action for the Green Wave while working on his game. Recognized as a Tulane Scholar-Athlete for both semesters, including the fall when he scored a perfect 4.0 GPA. Named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and received the C-USA Academic Medal with a cumulative GPA above 3.5. 2002-03: Participated in two fall and three spring events for the Green Wave and notched a scoring average of 79.1. Fired a pair of 74s in the final two rounds of the Cardinal Intercollegiate to finish with a 228. Had three rounds of 74 or lower, including a season-low 73 in the final round of the Raising Cane Classic. Top finish of the spring was a 43rd place at the Tulane Invitational when he finished with a 76. Earned the C-USA Academic Medal, indicative of a cumulative GPA of above 3.75, for the second consecutive year. 2001-02: Saw action in seven events his freshman season and compiled a stroke average of 76.6. In five fall events, posted a stroke average of 73.7 with all 15 of his scores counting toward the team total. Tallied one top 10 finish and three top 25 placings on the year. Tulane's top finisher (tied for 18th overall) at the Fall Beach Classic where he shot even par 216 on the strength of a second round 69, his collegiate career low. Top placing was 10th place at the ULM/Fred Marx Intercollegiate. Fired a 54-hole 220 after shooting 70-71 on the first day. Tied for 22nd at the season-opening Raising Cane Classic after posting a 219 (73-71-75). One of the Wave's top three finishers in four of seven events. Carded a score of 75 or better in 11 rounds, with four rounds of even par or better. Compiled a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the year to earn a C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal, with a gpa above 3.75 and recognition on the Tulane Scholar-Athlete list. Prep: A three-time all-area selection in Los Angeles. As an individual, twice finished sixth in the California state championship. Shot 69 in the state championship to place sixth his senior year, capping a year in which he shot under par in all three postseason tourneys. Carded 69s three times during his prep career and won two of those events. Also posted a sixth-place state finish as a sophomore. Earned four varsity letters for coach Bob Loughrie and was MVP of the team all four years. The Rebels were 65-7 during his four years and won the Prep League crown twice. Team captain his last three seasons. Also participated in soccer for two seasons. Personal: Born May 23, 1983 in Glendale, Calif.
