Fall 2004: Rejoined the golf program but did not see any tournament action during the semester. Continued his stellar performance in the classroom with a 4.0 grade point average for the semester to qualify for the Tulane Scholar-Athlete list. 2003-04: Did not participate on the golf team during the 2003-04 year. Qualified for the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and was honored with the C-USA Academic Medal with a cumulative GPA above 3.75. Posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the fall semester. 2002-03: Saw action in a pair of spring events as a freshman, including playing as an individual at the Methodist Sportscare/Bob Brown Invitational. Had his best round of the year at that event with a 79 on the Gator Course at Eastover Golf Club in New Orleans. Tied for 66th in the overall standings in the 36-hole tournament. Also played in the Tulane top five at the ASU Indian Classic in Arkansas. Finished the year with a stroke average of 83.0 in five rounds. Prep: Florida High School record holder with a low 18-hole score of 64. Averaged 37.4 strokes per nine holes (Florida prep standard) during his high school career. Shot a career low of 29 for nine holes. Named a Future Collegians World Tour All-American. All-Broward County choice his junior and senior years in one of the most competitive areas for high school golf in the country. Three-time district champion, 2002, 2001 and 2000. Also claimed the regional titles in 2000 and 2001. Four-year letterwinner for Coach Sim Roper. Salutatorian of his high school class. Recognized as a Miami Herald Scholar-Athlete and earned the same honor from the Broward County Athletic Association. Awarded the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Award for his high school.
