NEW ORLEANS - Tulane quarterback Patrick Ramsey has been named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and third time in 2000 after completing 29-of-56 passes for 360 yards and three touchdowns Saturday in the Green Wave's 37-14 victory over Memphis. The win gave the Green Wave a 6-5 record on the season and a three-game season-ending win streak.

Memphis came into the game boasting the nation's No. 2 defense, but the Tigers were no match for Ramsey and his mates on the TU offense as the Ruston junior posted his fourth straight 300-yard passing game of the year. Ramsey hit his favorite touchdown receiver, senior Adrian Burnette, three times with passing scores as Burnette set the single season touchdown receiving record.

Ramsey, who tallied his fourth consecutive 300-yard passing game and sixth 300-yard game in 10 starts this year, passed for 2,833 yards on the season, completing 229-of-389 passes for a 58.9 percentage and had 24 touchdown passes with just 14 interceptions.
