Tulane Athletics' Update to Season Ticket Holders

Nov. 1, 2005

DALLAS - Tulane Athletics appreciates the understanding and loyalty of Green Wave fans during a difficult time. Tulane student-athletes have done a remarkable job responding to the challenge of "carrying the torch" for Tulane University and New Orleans while displaced to four campuses across Louisiana and Texas this fall. It is an unprecedented effort.

One of the athletics department's many challenges has been operating a ticket sales operation without a "home base" and without most of our season ticket holder account information.

While season tickets for the 2005 football home schedule were never mailed, Tulane has made season tickets available for pick-up at each of our "home game" locations in 2005. Tickets will also be available for pick-up by season ticket holders in Monroe, La. the week of the Tulane-Tulsa game (Nov. 14-19), which will also mark the annual "Senior Day" pre-game ceremony.

A record has been kept of all tickets used by season ticket holders this year. Season ticket holders who have been unable to use their tickets for all (or any) 2005 football games will have several options, which will be put into place and communicated to all of our fans once Tulane Athletics returns to New Orleans and resumes its ticket operations there in the coming months.

For now, we appreciate your patience and look forward to serving you during the 2005-06 basketball and 2006 baseball seasons. Look for information on new season ticket options for men's basketball, as well as the men's basketball schedule, soon at www.TulaneGreenWave.com. We will also be posting a questionnaire for season ticket holders so that we can collect new addresses and contact information on our most loyal fans, many of whom also have been adversely affected by the hurricane.

If you have already ordered and paid for basketball season tickets for 2005-06, tickets for the three "home" games scheduled to be played in College Station will be available for pick-up at Will Call on game day at Reed Arena. Once the team returns to New Orleans, season tickets for all Fogelman Arena games will be distributed at a date and site to be determined.

If you have specific ticket questions, please contact Green Wave Ticket Manager Dan Holden. You may leave a message on Dan's voice mail at 504-865-5357 or you may click here to e-mail Dan directly.
