When you're piling up 200-yard games on a weekly basis, at some point the national media is going to take notice.

That has proven to be the case for Tulane senior running back Matt Forte', an established star for the Green Wave who the national media is just now beginning to take more notice of.

I guess four straight 200-yard performances can do that for you.

ESPN.com in particular has given the powerful runner some love recently, naming him one of the most improved players in the country. Meanwhile, ESPN draftnik Mel Kiper Jr. discussed Forte' in a recent column about rising draft prospects.

It may be safe to say that ESPN is becoming impressed, and when they love you, everyone is going to hear about it.

It sounds like Forte' and Tulane are getting some of the attention they deserve.
