CHICAGO - Tulane kicker Seth Marler was named Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Marler, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound freshman from Lilburn, Ga., was 4-of-4 on field goal attempts in Saturday's 48-32 win over Louisiana-Lafayette, connecting from 46, 28, 27 and 37 yards. Marler, who hit all four of his PAT attempts in the win, has made his last six field goal attempts, including two of more than 45 yards.

On the season, Marler has connected on 12-of-16 field goal attempts and leads the Green Wave in scoring with 55 points.
