DALLAS - Tickets to Saturday's Conference USA West Division battle between Tulane and Houston at Cajun Field in Lafayette, La. are now on sale through all Ticketmaster outlets, while Green Wave 2005 season ticket holders can pick up tickets for Saturday's game beginning Tuesday in Lafayette, Tulane ticket manager Dan Holden announced Monday. Kickoff for the contest, the Wave's third makeshift "home" game of 2005 is scheduled for 5 p.m. (Central).

Tickets for the Tulane-Houston game are $30 for premium general admission seats and $10 for standard general admission. They can be purchased on-line at www.Ticketmaster.com, by calling 800-488-5252 or at Ticketmaster outlets in Louisiana and Mississippi. Tulane, Louisiana-Lafayette and Houston students with a school ID will be admitted free.

Tulane football season ticket holders who have purchased their 2005 season tickets can pick up tickets for the Houston game this week Tuesday through Friday at the Cajun Dome Box Office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

On game day, tickets will be available for purchase (cash, check or credit card) or pick-up beginning at noon at the Main Ticket Booth at Cajun Field, near gate A. Parking for the contest is free at most of the lots surrounding Cajun Field.

Forced to evacuate New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina on August 28, the Tulane team is enrolled in school at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, which has also provided locker room, meeting room and dorm space for the Green Wave student-athletes. The Wave (2-1, 1-0) played its first "home" contest of 2005 at Independence Stadium in Shreveport versus Mississippi State on Sept. 17 and defeated Southeastern Louisiana at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge last week. The game in Lafayette will mark the third different "home" stadium in Louisiana this season for the Green Wave. Tulane will play its Oct. 14 contest versus UTEP in Ruston at Joe Aillet Stadium with kickoff Friday night at 7 p.m. for the nationally-televised (ESPN) game.

Tickets for the UTEP contest in Ruston will go on sale via Ticketmaster later this week.
