New Orleans - Cox Sports Television (CST) announced today that it will televise Tulane's final home game of the 2013 regular season when the Green Wave hosts Conference USA rival UTEP at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Tulane will have five of its 12 games on a local, regional or national broadcast this season, including three of its six home games. CST will now air two home games, including Tulsa on Oct. 26 and UTEP.
The Green Wave's first television game will be a nationally-televised contest on the road at Louisiana Tech on Fox Sports 1. The contest will mark the first meeting between the two schools on the gridiron since 1998 and will also serve as the C-USA opener for both squads.
TU will also play a pair of contests on Fox College Sports, including its homecoming game against North Texas on Oct. 5 and the regular season finale on the road at Rice on Nov. 30.
Tulane was originally slated to play South Alabama on CST but that game will no longer be televised.
Tulane will kick-off the 2013 campaign against Jackson State on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Season ticket packages are available for purchase and renewal by calling the Tulane Team Shop Ticket Office at 504-861-WAVE (9283) or by visiting TulaneGreenWave.com. All 2013 Tulane Football season ticket holders in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome will have priority access to purchase season tickets in the Yulman Stadium (those with a history of supporting both the Tulane Athletics Fund and buying season tickets will receive enhanced priority). Season ticket packages start as low as $100 for adults and $70 for youth.
