Football Early Renewal Ticket Holders Party a Success

NEW ORLEANS - On May 21, the Tulane Athletics department rewarded the fans that renewed their 2010 football season tickets early with a tent party prior to the Green Wave's baseball against UCF.

All ticket holders who renewed their football season tickets by April 30th were invited to the event which included free food and drinks, as well as a ticket to the baseball game. Tulane assistant head coach and offensive coordinator Dan Dodd addressed the group and thanked everyone for renewing and expressed his excitement for the upcoming season.

Over 40 percent of the 2009 season ticket holders took advantage of the early renewal offer and renewed for the 2010 season.

A live drawing was held at the event where each renewed account was eligible for prizes. The winners are:
Grand Prize Winner (Trip for two, including hotel, travel and game tickets, to a Tulane away football game): Stephen Patton
2nd Place Winner (Four suite tickets and sideline passes for a Tulane home football game): John Mipro, Jr.

Season tickets for the 2010 season are currently on sale to the public starting at $99. The Green Wave's seven-game home schedule includes the opener against Southeastern Louisiana on Thursday, Sept. 2. Tulane also hosts Ole Miss, Army, SMU, Southern Miss, Rice and UCF.
